Privacy

You can practise everything without an account, and when you do we hold nothing that identifies you. We keep a simple count of how many times each page is viewed, and that count records no IP address, no device information, and sets no cookie.

Your progress in that case lives only in your own browser, on your device. It is never sent to us, so it stays on that device unless you sign in to carry it across.

We store the minimum an account needs:

• Your email address, so you can sign in. You can sign in with a one-time link or with Google. If you use Google, we receive your email address from Google but not your password.
• Your self-marked answers: which questions you attempted, the marks you gave yourself, and when. This is what powers your dashboard and the “what to work on next” list.

That is all. We do not build advertising profiles from it.

When you report a problem, we store your message, the question or page it was about, and your email only if you chose to give one. We use it to fix the issue and, if you left an email, to reply to you about it.

We only use cookies that make the site work: the ones that keep you signed in, and a “remember me” cookie that sends you straight to your dashboard on your next visit if you asked it to. We set no advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

ExamKata may show ads on its browsing pages to stay free. Any ads are non-personalised: they are not based on tracking you, and none appear inside a question or while you are marking your answer. Because the audience includes students under 18, this is a rule we will not break.

Accounts and saved progress are stored with Supabase, which hosts our database and handles sign-in on our behalf. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google handles that step. We do not share your data with anyone else.

You can sign out at any time. If you want your account and all of its saved progress deleted, ask us and we will remove it. Progress held only in your browser is cleared when you clear your browser data for this site.

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
