Help
How ExamKata works, and answers to the questions people ask most.
- How does self-marking work?
- Every question comes with its full mark scheme. You answer first, then reveal the scheme and tick the points you actually made. Your running total and mastery update from what you tick, not from a guess at whether you were close.
- Are these real past-paper questions?
- No. Every question is original, written in the style of the UK exam-board specifications so the format, command words, and mark schemes match what you will sit.
- Do I need an account?
- No. All questions are free and open without signing in. An account only adds progress tracking across sessions, which will live on your dashboard.
- Which subjects and boards are covered?
- Whatever is live shows on the home page. Subjects and boards appear automatically as they are added, so if you do not see one yet it is not ready.
