Practice that works the way the exam does.
ExamKata is an independent study aid, built to make real practice free and out in the open, one click from the questions.
What ExamKata is
A free bank of exam-style Biology and Chemistry questions, each with its full mark scheme. You answer, reveal the scheme, and mark yourself honestly against it. That last part is the whole point: the marks in a real exam are won and lost on whether your answer actually made each point, so that is exactly what you practise here.
Why it's free
Good practice material should not sit behind a paywall while you are revising. Everything here is open without an account. The site is kept running by light, non-personalised ads on the browsing pages, never inside a question, and never mixed into the moment you are marking your answer.
How the questions are written
Every question is original, written in the style of the exam-board specification it sits under, so the format, command words, and mark schemes match what you will actually sit. They are not past papers. Where a question needs a graph or a figure it is drawn to the same conventions the real papers use.
Marking yourself honestly
There is no clever AI grading your prose. You decide, point by point, which marks your answer earned, because learning to read a mark scheme the way an examiner does is one of the most useful skills you can build. If you sign in, that self-marking quietly builds a picture of which topics are strong and which need another look, and shows it on your dashboard.
